Scan, connect, tap in: a new way to network

From an attendee’s point of view, TapIn takes about a minute, and then it’s working for you the rest of the night. Here’s the whole flow.

Scan the code

Point your camera at the event’s QR code, on a slide, a badge, or the invite, and it opens the event directory. No app store, no download.

Set up your profile

Add a name, a photo, a short bio, and the ways you want people to reach you, with a public/private toggle on each. Takes seconds, and you only do it once.

Tap in and meet the room

You’re on the list. Browse everyone who’s here, search by name or interest, and see the people worth finding before the night’s over.

Save who matters

Save a contact straight to your phone or favorite the people you want to remember. When you get home, the connections are already there, no cards to transcribe.

“Walk in, tap in, walk out with everyone you meant to meet.”

Until next time,

I’m building TapIn so the connections you make at events actually last, no more lost cards or forgotten names. I write about events, networking, and community.
